In keeping with an interest in testing out common idioms, I wanted to offer others an opportunity to wear their hearts on their sleeves. So, in exchange for sharing a story or something of themselves, I sewed silkscreened anatomical heart patches on participants’ sleeves. In another iteration, I had anatomical heart patches fabricated in several colours and made available as an open edition. They are still kicking around and can now be found at Open Sesame.
