I have described Three windows<\/em> as an invitation to slowness and a more receptive mode of being. \u00a0The video presents three windows in my home, sites of permeability, exchange and chance. \u00a0Though at times subtle, the movement of the curtains and glow of light is oddly mesmerizing and reminiscent of breath.<\/p>\n

This project and it’s companion piece,\u00a0Three windows described by three voices…<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>grew out of a body of work that seeks to playfully reclaim domestic space as a site of imagination and possibility even and especially when it is not where a person would prefer to spend their time.<\/p>\n

This project was commissioned by Tangled Art + Disability<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0The Human Flourishing Project. \u00a0It has been exhibited at ArtSpin’s<\/a>\u00a0Holding Patterns<\/em><\/a>\u00a0at Planet Storage, Toronto and at Talk Back<\/i><\/a>, Flux Factory, NY.<\/p>\n
